SkyWalker Buys DFW Data Center, Plans Upgrade

The facility at 6001 Campus Circle Drive West features a mix of data raised floor space and office space. The new owner plans to improve the location and attract a single tenant for the entire data center.

SkyWalker Property Partners has acquired a 136,000-square-foot data center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Tier IV facility was vacant at the time of the sale. In addition to the building, the deal included a two-acre ground lease with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors represented the buyer in the transaction and was retained as the exclusive leasing agent for the facility.

The facility is located at 6001 Campus Circle Drive W., adjacent to the airport. The data center received a 96,000-square-foot expansion in the 1980s, as well as an addition of five backup generators totaling 8,100 kW. It also features 20 fiber network suppliers…
