YDNEY, Australia — GE Capital has three final participants in the final round of an auction of its Australian commercial lending and leasing businesses, said a person with direct knowledge of the matter.

General Electric, which for years has beenMOVING away from banking as it has become less profitable and riskier, announced plans in the springto shed GE Capital and sell off most of that division over the next two years.
