Snapchat Names Mattel’s Vollero as Acting Chief of Finance
BySnapchat Inc., the disappearing message startup, is naming Mattel Inc.’s Drew Vollero as its acting chief financial officer.
Vollero will report to Chief Strategy Officer Imran Khan, a former Credit Suisse Group AG banker, according to Jill Hazelbaker, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles-based company. Vollero will serve as vice president of finance and start on Monday, she said.
Evan Spiegel, Snapchat’s chief executive officer, said in May that the company should eventually go public. Snapchat was valued at $16 billion in its latest funding round, people with knowledge of the matter said.
