Portware Brings Artificial Intelligence To Trading

By Tony Seruga

Portware, a leading provider of multi-asset trade automation for asset managers, says its Alpha Vision product acquired from Pipeline in 2012 provides defense against high frequency trading (HFT) and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve trading performance.

The future of trading will be driven by analytics, said Alfred Eskandar, Portware’s CEO. Before its launch of Alpha Vision the only AI solutions for trading were proprietary programs.

“We have taken predictive analytics and embedded them into a trading platform.”…
